With the proposal of approaching the influences of the waacking and voguing dances, two techniques that contributed a lot to the ballroom, clubs, and pop cultures, Danna Lisboa shares both icons of the dance floors to make the body move with what she considers class, elegance, fluidity, and a lot of energy.

Waacking was born in New York underground clubs in 1971, but the dance culture was born in Los Angeles. Its movements are typical of the soul train-style club dance floors.

Voguing has as its principle the poses, angular movements of the legs, chest, and arms, a trend that emerged in New York in the parties called ballroom, in Harlem neighborhood. All this culture is the creation of the African-Americans in the early 60s.

Both waacking and voguing are inserted into the current pop culture through video clips and even in series and reality shows.

Danna Lisboa started her dance studies in 2003. From then on, she participated in major dance festivals like Meeting Hip Hop, integrating groups such as Ritmos B.A.S.E, Identidade em Movimento, among other contributions. Danna also goes through many places in São Paulo with her workshops targeted at dances with the essence of the clubs and urban dances.
