The meeting articulated by the curatorship team of the veiculoSUR – an itinerant, transregional, transdisciplinary, and collaborative platform founded in 2014 and managed by Latin American and European dance and visual arts creators – and resident artists of the 2020-21-22 edition proposes to generate a horizontal conversation among all, bringing experiences and reflections around this exercise, that requires special attention to reproduce a choreography thinking in the shifting, that is, to choreograph movements as a way of learning to move in other directions.

The shifting as choreography is a technology created by the desire or necessity of changes and transformations of scenarios (out), states (in), and activations of dreams.

For such, the table brings up questions like: Which devices and practices existing in the home materialize it? Is it possible to talk about management, curatorship, and creation under a constant shifting? What can be choreographed? What can be mapped? What does a choreography that goes from “South” to “North” mean? How can we continue to move ourselves within a context in which we can barely move physically? How existences are shifters?

The veiculoSUR platform instigates artistic gatherings concerning conflicts of rules and foreign bodies, and it is attentive to the political-economical-social matters surrounding it. So, it sets off from urgencies that go through the artistic practice overlapping with its market, social, and economic aspects, moving the participants of the international residence.
