Dance, music and urban space, or a dancer, a musician and an always-portentous double bass pervade the streets, squares, monuments and different landscapes of Lisbon and Turin. Three bodies, therefore, confront each other in a space that recreates itself at every moment, through this confrontation. A space in which the instrument – and not she or he, the artists – ends up asserting itself as the key element of a game in which it is the true director.

We watch a playful relationship that is inserted into everyday life, outdoors and in search of an impossible synchrony with 2,000 km away and a one-hour time difference separating the two cities where these three presences are separated. This is an invitation to the audience to look in a different, unexpected and unpredictable way at outer space, city places, and human relationships, both in proximity and distance.

Sara Marasso and Stefano Risso belong to the Il Cantiere collective, founded in Turin in 2000 and focused on the field of performing arts.

Having premiered in April at the Festival Dias da Dança (DDD), in Porto, within the Body+City axis, the work is presented at the Biennial together with Darktraces, by Joana Castro (Portugal).
